MUTA Kazue is Professor of Human Sciences at the Graduate School of Osaka University. She finished her doctoral coursework from the Graduate School of Kyoto University, majoring in Sociology. She also obtained her Masters degree., majoring in Literature. She specializes in Sociology and Women’s Studies. Her fields of interest are (1) The change in gender norms in the formation of modern nation-state; and (2) the problems of sexual harassment. Her main publications include Feminist Practice, Iwanami shoten, Tokyo (2001); Family Politics and Women in Modern Japan, Shin’yo-sha Tokyo (1996). | |||
